His works given me a few ideas for my Radiohead Typography work (which should be up on Sunday/Monday). The "DUST TO DUST" piece especialy, the constrast between image and blod text works perfectly.

Hail To The Thief...

I got the special edition of Radiohead's 2003 album Hail To The Thief for Christmas, it includes cover art by Stanley Donwood and Tchock, and a fold-out map/poster containing artwork similar to the cover. It also contains a lyrics booklet and some colour-coded poems. I felt it was relevant to my current work on the Drawing Approaches project.

 

I'm going to take a series of these lyrics and combine them with elements of previous work to create works predominantly based around the text.

I also found some text between the cover and the lyrics booklet which I don't think was meant to be found... instructions for who ever glued this together "LEFT HAND PAGE THIS PAGE GLUES ONTO MAP".
